What is the heaviest metal that can be used to make a melee weapon?
Q. I'm making a story where the characters use heavy metals for their weapons because where they go weight doesn't matter to them so it makes their weapon that much dangerous. I'd like if the metal can also range in weaponry, from small knives to large zanbat .

A. Depleted uranium has a specific gravity of 19, considerably more than lead (which is 11). Tungsten is also very heavy (SG=19) but it is far more expensive than depleted uranium, and is also more difficult to machine.

What is the best way to hang a metal frame?
Q. I am putting together a metal picture frame, and I was hoping to find a hardware piece which would serve as 2 purposes: 1) to press the foam core backing against the frame, and 2) to use to hang the picture. Several pre-made frames come with this piece. It's like a little U-shaped metal prong- you just pinch it together to fit under the back of the frame moulding, and it has a little sawtooth hole which can be used to hang the picture. What is this metal piece called? Is this the best way to hang my picture?

A. metal has to rust someday...but to prevent that from happening a longer time...first you should keep it in a closed thing when you're not wearing it of course..put it in a box...and don't put it in water or in the bathroom...or any were that is moisty..coz water rusts metals hope i helped :) Princess Nash
