How to transfer pictures from my computer into my digital camera?
Q. I have some pictures on my computer that I need to transfer to my digital camera so i can send it to my lawyer. I tried dragging the pictures into my digital camera folder, but when i check the picture library on my camera the pictures don't show up even though they are in the folder. If I get my camera developed, will the pictures that i dragged into its memory folder also get developed, or since its not showing in the library it wont? And if it doesn,t how do i do it if i even can? Thanks

A. This is a very confusing question. If you have a digital camera, you dont get the pictures developed thats only film. So you can pick and choose which ones you print by using an online service or by bringing a cd of the shots to wallmart or some place that will print them. If you want to keep the pictures private for some reason I suggest you print them out yourself. Otherwise online services like mpix.com print for very cheap.

How do I retrieve my pictures when the memory card needs to be formatted?
Q. I was on vacation taking pictures with my camera and card I've used for several years. I had about 10 pictures left on the card when it told me I needed to format. I didn't because I don't want to lose the pictures. I've tried downloading to my computer but it tells me the card doesn't have any pictures. Is there any way to retrieve them? And how can I keep this from happening in the future?

A. Try a card reader (10.00) and and try a deep scan and after you have retrieved the pics, then format in the camera. Your card might be corrupt and it might be time for a new card.

How do i transfer pictures from my camera to my computer?
Q. my computer is old. & i have a samsung L100 (my camera) and ive tried everything i know possible to get the pictures to transfer, i have the cd to install.. that came with the camera & we tried installing it several times but no-where on there did it say anything about transferring pictures. & it should automatically transfer them but since its an old computer i guess not ? please help. i took prom pictures and i need to post them on myspace :) thanks !

A. After you have attached the cable you were provided with from your camera to the computer make sure your camera is switched ON. The computer should automatically ask you if you want to open the file. If it doesn't find "My Computer" on the desktop. Open it. It will give you a choice of several different drives - you are looking for the samsung. Open it. The pictures should then start to appear. Then click "ctrl A". All the pictures will become highlighted. Now right click and open "new folder". On the desktop open the "new folder" and now click "ctrl C" within the folder. The photos will then copy into the folder. You can now rename the folder by clicking in the name "new folder" and typing a new name. You can then move this folder to… [cont.]
